Premium Christmas cards featuring an original image of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Christ child illustrated in Anglo-Saxon style by BARITUS Catholic Illustration. This original rendition of the nativity features the Blessed Mother dressed in traditional Anglo-Saxon attire of a queen, kneeling at the manger and presenting her dear Son who quietly sleeps before her. The pose is reminiscent of the Pieta, but instead of mourning the loss of her Son, here she presents Him to the world as its Savior. The inscription on the manger reads "I Am the Light of the World" and the inside of the card features the Gospel of John referencing the "light shining in the darkness". Mother and Child are situated under a traditional stable and framed by a rich ornate Anglo-Saxon style border. Allusions to the "Fruit of the Tree" spring from the nativity creche, and Jesus, the True Fruit from the Tree lays in the feeding the trough (manger) pointing to the symbolism of Him being the True Bread from Heaven. Brilliant metallic gold details reflect throughout the image in the stars, nativity star, the Blessed Mother's regal attire, inscription on the manger and in the ornate border.

These cards are printed on a high-quality natural paper stock with a slight off-white appearance with a rich minimal palette and stamped with a bright gold reflective foil.
